Principal's Message
I have the honor of serving our students, parents and community as the principal at L. J. Christen Middle School “Where everybody is somebody”. For the past months, I have had the pleasure of meeting all of our students and shared the vision of moving from a B rated school to an A rated school. At L.J. Christen MS, my teachers, staff, administrators and i continue to provide a wealth of opportunities for our teachers to teach and our students to learn. Our campus culture has provided the opportunity for our students to feel loved and valued and that each one of them is important to us. I enjoy walking into classrooms every day to let your child know that I care about them and want them to behave and learn from their teachers. We offer positive experiences, excellence in delivery of instruction, character building, innovation of instructional practices, and providing the knowledge and skills to inspire every one of our students to reach their full academic potential. Safe, challenging, engaging and inclusive learning environments continue to be at the core of our efforts to ensure our students feel a sense of belonging as Christen Cubs as evidenced through an increase in our school pride, overcome any barriers students encounter on a daily basis and be successful in their efforts to be the best that they can be at Christen MS. Christen MS continues to build the capacity of teachers and students as confident learners, compassionate leaders and responsible citizens and preparing them as they navigate their life’s journey. I thank you for sending your child to school every day to ensure their academic success!
