A warm welcome L. J. Christen Middle School “Where everybody is somebody”. I hope everyone has had a safe, relaxed and productive summer and ready to come back re-energized to the 2026-2027 academic school year. Our Laredo ISD theme for this year is “LISD Breaking Barriers”. L.J. Christen MS continues to provide an abundance of opportunities for enhancing the quality of teaching and learning. Our campus culture provides the experience, excellence, character, innovation, knowledge and skill to inspire everyone to reach their full academic potential. Safe, challenging, engaging and inclusive learning environments are at the core of our efforts to ensure our students feel a sense of belonging as Christen Cubs, overcome any barriers they encounter and be successful in their efforts to be the best that they can be at Christen MS. Christen MS continues to build the capacity of teachers and students as confident learners, compassionate leaders and responsible citizens and preparing them for the future. Welcome back! I am looking forward to meeting all of you.
