Lamar Middle School closed out our AR Kickoff Week with a fun and spirited pep rally today! 📚🎉 Our theme this year is Read, Soar, Explore! Level Up Your Literacy, and our Lions showed just how ready they are to take on the challenge.
Students and staff came together to celebrate the joy of reading, the adventures it takes us on, and the new goals we’ll reach this year. The energy in the gym was contagious as our Lions cheered, laughed, and showed their school pride.
We are so proud of our students and can’t wait to see how they will soar in their reading journeys. Here’s to a year of exploring new worlds, leveling up our literacy, and achieving great success! 🚀✨

In addition, we are thrilled to announce that there are still 15 spots available for the 8th Summer Washington, D.C. and New York City Trip in 2026. This is only for current 8th graders. The opportunity for 7th graders is forthcoming.
