LISD ‘s Office of Communications hosted the 4th Annual LISD Scholars Golf Tournament on Saturday, February 10, at the Casa Blanc Golf Course. Close to 100 golfers enjoyed a fun-filled day of golf that included breakfast and lunch, door prizes, a cool goodie bag and a warm feeling from supporting LISD’s graduates on their way to college. Thanks to our sponsors and golfers LISD was able to raise money for scholarships for students from Martin High School, Nixon High School, Cigarroa High School, Garcia Early College High School, and Valdez High School.

Please be advised that there will be an early release schedule for Thursday, February 15th, 2024. Middle school students will be released at 1:30 pm. Due to staff development, there will be no classes for students on Friday, February 16th, and Monday, February 19th.

Congratulations to Mariachi Los Tigrillos de Oro Varsity and JV. They participated in UIL Solo and Ensemble this Saturday February 3rd at United High School. Varsity and JV mariachis received 1st division ratings and received 48 1st division medals in UIL.
